POSSIBILITIES OF APPLICATION OF TRADITIONAL FOLK ART IN MODERN DESIGN OF LIGHT INDUSTRY FACILITIES

Abstract. The article discusses the use of elements of folk art in the process of designing light industry products, the influence of traditional crafts on modern design. The analysis of the popularity of the «Russian» style in the work of foreign designers and manufacturers of clothing, other light industry products, the influence of folk motifs on modern mass culture, the experience of cooperation between craftsmen and developers of modern design items.
