INVESTIGATION THE APPLICATION OF RTL-SDR AND THE MATLAB ENVIRONMENT ON THE EXAMPLE OF AM-DSB-TC TRANSMIT AND RECEIVE

Abstract. Training of specialists in the field of communication requires studying the principles of operation of modern receiving and transmitting equipment. In the current realities, the use of expensive professional systems is not appropriate for use in the educational process. In this regard, it is necessary to find the optimal solution for use in higher education institutions. To do this, this article discusses the possibility of receiving a signal by an SDR receiver using the example of AM-DSB-TC demodulation. The paper considers the general structure of RTL-SDR, modulation and demodulation schemes of AM-DSB-TC, demonstrates the results of signal transmission and reception in graphical form.
